The International Campaign for Tibet is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 edition of the Tibetan Empowerment Days, which will take place in Brussels from 2 to 5 November 2026.
Organised by the International Campaign for Tibet with the support of FIDH (International Federation for Human Rights), the Tibetan Empowerment Days bring together young Tibetans and Tibet supporters from across the European Union for four days of training, exchange and direct engagement with European policymakers.
At a time when the Chinese government continues to intensify its repression in Tibet and seeks to reshape international narratives on the issue, sustained advocacy on Tibet Europe is more important than ever. The Tibetan Empowerment Days equip participants with the knowledge, practical skills and network needed to become stronger advocates for Tibet, both in Brussels and in their own countries.
Throughout the programme, participants will:
- Learn about the European Union, its institutions and its role in promoting human rights in China and Tibet;
- Develop practical advocacy and communication skills;
- Meet Members of the European Parliament and other EU stakeholders;
- Connect with fellow Tibet advocates from across Europe and build lasting networks.
Join us in Brussels to make your voice heard and help send a strong message to the European Union: now is the time for concrete action on Tibet!
