In July, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama will turn 90 years old, and 2025 has been officially designated by Sikyong Penpa Tsering as “The Year of Compassion.” This is not only an honor to the Dalai Lama’s lifelong message of peace and wisdom but also calls for renewed global attention to Tibet’s ongoing struggle for cultural preservation, human rights, and self-determination.
