The Board of ICT Europe (International Campaign for Tibet) is seeking an experienced finance professional<\/strong> to join as a non-paid, honorary board member<\/strong>. We warmly invite interested candidates to connect with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About ICT Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ICT Europe is a non-profit organization<\/strong> dedicated to promoting human rights and democratic freedoms for the Tibetan people<\/strong>.  Our work focuses on protecting Tibetan culture and identity, advocating for Tibetans imprisoned for their beliefs, and engaging with governments and institutions to support a peaceful, political resolution in Tibet<\/strong>. Our advocacy is entirely non-violent<\/strong>, inspired by the principles of His Holiness the Dalai Lama<\/strong>, and aims to build sustained international support for Tibet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Role of ICT Europe Board Members<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fiduciary & Financial Oversight<\/strong>
Board members ensure that ICT Europe\u2019s finances are sound, transparent, and aligned with its charitable mission. This includes approving budgets, monitoring reports, and safeguarding the organization\u2019s financial stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategy & Direction<\/strong>
Board members contribute to defining ICT\u2019s strategic goals and long-term vision, ensuring the organization remains mission-driven and sustainable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governance & Accountability<\/strong>
Members uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency, ensuring ICT complies with all Dutch laws and ANBI (Public Benefit Organization)<\/strong> requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oversight & Support<\/strong>
The board advises and oversees the Executive Director and staff, providing guidance on management, risk, and key organizational decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representation & Advocacy<\/strong>
Board members serve as ambassadors for ICT Europe \u2014 supporting fundraising initiatives, cultivating partnerships, and representing the organization in external forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current Board and Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ICT Europe Board currently includes six members. The board committee  which meets regularly to prepare full  board sessions and advise the Executive Director on urgent matters, consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
