This September, Tibetan Empowerment Days returns to Brussels from September 22nd to 25th<\/strong>, bringing together young Tibetans and supporters from across Europe for a dynamic program of advocacy, education, and networking. In the lead-up to this year\u2019s event, past participants have shared inspiring reflections on how Tibetan Empowerment Days impacted their personal growth and deepened their commitment to the Tibetan cause.<\/p>\n

\u201cI highly recommend the Tibetan Empowerment Days to all Tibetans living in Europe. I attended last year, and it was an incredible opportunity to gain valuable experience in advocacy. We received extensive training from inspiring guest speakers and visited various organizations that actively advocate at the EU level. The International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) also provides excellent preparation for meetings with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), and it\u2019s a great chance to network with MEPs from your own country serving in the EU.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Tibet Empowerment Days gave me a platform to engage with political leaders, articulate Tibet\u2019s reality, advocate for initiatives like a Parliamentary Tibet Group, and build meaningful connections. Meeting Tibetan youth across the continent, who share the conviction that their actions contribute towards a Free Tibet, remains a source of inspiration. I urge everyone to stay focused on the true oppressor, educate themselves in Tibetan language, history, activism, and reject divisive narratives born of ignorance. As the situation in Tibet worsens, we who enjoy the privileges of freedom must spend our time wisely on meaningful initiatives. The Tibet Empowerment Days is one of them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
