Ik kan me daar verder weinig tot niets van herinneren. Behalve dat Tibet \u2018het dak van de wereld\u2019 werd genoemd. Dat sprak tot de kinderlijke verbeelding en heeft een onuitwisbare indruk op me gemaakt. Elke keer dat ik nadien de naam Tibet voorbij hoorde komen, spitste ik de oren.
