The European Parliament adopted today a resolution that calls on the European Union and its member states to decline invitations to attend the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics unless “the Chinese Government demonstrates a verifiable improvement in the human rights situation.

The Board of Directors of International Campaign for Tibet Europe is delighted to announce that Wangpo Tethong will be the new Executive Director. He succeeds Tsering Jampa, who established the office in 1999 and is going into retirement in October 2021.
