ICT-UNPO-FIDH conference in the European Parliament – Chinese counter-terrorism policy: Impacts and dangers for Tibetans and Uyghurs

The International Campaign for Tibet, in collaboration with the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO) and the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk (ALDE) and MEP Thomas Mann (EPP), will be convening a conference at the European Parliament entitled ‘Chinese counter-terrorism policy: Impacts and dangers for Tibetans and Uyghurs’ on 8 February 2017.

European Parliament Hosts Photo Exhibition on Dalai Lama’s Life

On 30 June 2015, MEPs Thomas Mann (Germany, EPP) and Csaba Sógor (Romania, EPP), the International Campaign for Tibet (ICT), the Office of Tibet in Brussels and the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO) will jointly hold a special event to mark the 80th birthday of the Dalai Lama in the European Parliament.

UN Human Rights Council Side Event “Lockdown in Tibet”

On behalf of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, the International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) is organising a side event during the upcoming 29th session of the UN Human Rights Council. The event – “Lockdown in Tibet” – will be held in the Palais des Nations, Room IX, on 15 June from 15:00 – 17:00.

EU Tibetan Youth Leadership Program: DEADLINE EXTENDED to 7 October

The International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) invites Tibetan bachelor and master students (or recent graduates) residing in Europe to apply for a 3-days-long leadership development program to be held in Brussels from 12 – 14 November 2013. Through workshops, discussions and hands-on activities, participants will develop and sharpen their leadership skills.
